Each year, Victoria Law Foundation runs several high-profile public and specialist events. These events are designed to help Victorians understand their legal system and the law. 

The Foundation’s events calendar includes:

Public Events

Law Week is the most high-profile event on the legal calendar with more than 200 events across the state. See: Law Week

Law Week Oration is hosted by Victoria Law Foundation and Melbourne Law School. The oration provides members of the public, law students, judges, barristers, academics, organisation executives and lawyers with an insight into interesting legal topics. Past orators include The Hon Chief Justice Murray Gleeson AC, Lex Lasry QC and Gareth Evans AO QC. Law Talks is a regional, legal education program. It includes a school program tailored to the year 11 and 12 VCE curriculum. See: Law Talks

Specialist Events
