Chief Justice's Medal for Excellence and Community Service

The Chief Justice's medal is awarded to one Victorian graduating law student who has demonstrated academic excellence in their legal studies and a commitment to community service.

Nominations are received from each law school in Victoria. A selection panel made up of members from the Foundation Board and Foundation staff, as well as a representative of the Chief Justice, consider the applications.

The award is presented at the winning student's university awards night.

The winner of the 2010 Victoria Law Foundation Chief Justice’s Medal for Excellence and Community Service was announced in June. See: media release (PDF-38KB)
