Chief Justice's Medal for Excellence and Community Service

The Chief Justice's medal is to be awarded to one Victorian graduating law student who has demonstrated academic excellence in their legal studies and a commitment to community service.

Nominations are received from each law school in Victoria and a selection panel made up of members of the Foundation board and staff and a representative of the Chief Justice consider the applications.

The award is presented at the winning student's university's awards night.

Nominations for the 2010 medal are now being accepted by the Foundation.

Download the Guidelines (PDF - 31 KB) and Nomination form (Word - 721 KB).

Students please note: nominations can only be made by your Law School or Faculty.
