Applications are now closed for the Legal Sector Internship Program 2011/12.
The Program is an exciting opportunity for students studying law to gain exposure to the broader legal sector.
The program is particularly suited to students with an interest in legal policy development, research, community legal education (including legal publishing) and legal and community sector capacity building and development. The internship consists of a 20-day placement within a host agency and a requirement to attend a number of seminars organised by the Foundation.
Approximately 25 host agencies participate in the program each year with about 50 interns placed. While at the host agency, interns usually work on a combination of legal-focussed projects as well as participate in the everyday work of the organisation.
