Katie Fraser - Prevention is Better than Cure: Preventing Legal Problems for Refugees
Katie Fraser, a solicitor with the Footscray Community Legal Centre (CLC) has been awarded the CLC Fellowship for 2009/10 to undertake a six month project identifying the gaps that exist in the information provided to refugees to Australia about our legal system. Katie plans to travel to two refugee camps in Egypt and Thailand as part of her Fellowship to observe and participate in the Australian Cultural Orientation program and research firsthand what materials and teaching resources are used to prepare refugees for travel to Australia, and to consider ways in which to improve the standard of legal information provided to all refugees before and after arriving in Australia.

Tamar Hopkins - Enhancing Human Rights through Police Accountability
At the time of her Fellowship Tamar Hopkins worked at the Flemington and Kensington Community Legal Centre. Tamar travelled to the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom to research issues surrounding police grievance mechanisms and police accountability. Nicole Rich - Maximising our Potential So We Can Help Our Clients Realise Theirs
At the time of her Fellowship Nicole worked at the Consumer Action Law Centre. Nicole travelled to the United States to research American advocacy strategies, the use of strategic litigation and campaigning, and how they might be applied in Australian community legal centres.

Rachna Muddagouni - Planning Framework Training Manual
At the time of her Fellowship Rachna Muddagouni was Executive Officer of the Fitzroy Legal Service. For her Fellowship, Rachna wrote and published a planning framework training manual for community legal centres. Helen McGowan - Lawyers Go Bush
At the time of her Fellowship Helen McGowan worked at the Albury Wodonga Community Legal Service. For her Fellowship, Helen developed and piloted a rural and regional clerkship program to encourage law students to gain experience in regional and rural Victoria.
