General Grants
|
We award General Grants twice a year, in March and September, for legal projects that benefit Victorians. Most General Grants awarded are between $20,000 and $50,000. Small Grants are available if your project budget is less than $5000.
When to apply?
Our next round will close on Wednesday 7 March 2012. However, if you are planning to make a grant application, we encourage you to contact our Grants and Awards Manager at least six weeks before the closing date to discuss your project.
WHo can apply?
Any organisation can apply for a Foundation grant. Applications from individuals are not accepted.
How to apply
-
Read our Grants Criteria - this will help you understand what kind of projects we want to fund.
-
Contact our Grants and Awards Manager to discuss your project - the earlier the better.
-
Download, complete and return our General Grants application form (Word, 1480KB) before Wednesday 7 March 2012.
After you apply
General Grants are typically awarded within two months of the closing date. Our Grants and Awards Manager will contact you if we need more information, and to tell you if your application has been successful.
Projects we've funded
We awarded more than $200,000 in our first General Grants round for 2011/2012. For more details, see: Grant projects
