General grants

General grants are awarded to organisations for projects and programs in relation to the law that, in the opinion of the Foundation, are likely to benefit the people of Victoria.

Projects for this program will have budgets over $5,000 (exc GST). Grants for events and seminars will not usually be awarded under the general grants program.

We encourage all applicants to contact the Grants Manager on 9604 8100 before submitting an application.

When can I apply?

General grants are applied for through two grant rounds per year, usually in March and September. See: How to apply

Who Considers the applications?

Applications for general grants are considered by the grants subgroup. See: Board

How will my application be assessed?

General grants are assessed on their merits and are only awarded for projects that meet the Foundation’s functions and guiding principles. See: Grants criteria

LATEST GRANT RECIPIENTS
Victoria Law Foundation has recently committed over $180,000 to six innovative projects. The projects will aid some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Victoria. See: Grants announcement
