Our small grants offer organisations the opportunity to act quickly to meet immediate needs, deliver low-cost, high impact projects or to scope larger potential projects. We accept applications for small grants all year round. For information about how to apply see small grants.

We awarded the following small grants in 2013/14.
Monash University, Michael Kirby Centre
Health-Legal partnership- $4,362
To scope the legal needs of hospital patients in order to create training material for hospital staff and to identify the best ways to deliver legal services in hospital settings. This will inform a larger project that will eventually provide pro bono legal services at three hospitals in Victoria.
Fitzroy Community Legal Service - $2,500
To review the legal needs of the community which Fitzroy Community Legal Service seeks to serve to ensure their services remain relevant.
Peninsula Community Legal Centre
Legal answers for permanent care families - $5,000
To create fact sheets and hold a forum which addresses key legal questions and issues that have been identified by permanent-care parents and guardians, including where to obtain help in dealing with these matters.
