Now in its 15th year, Victoria Law Foundation's Legal Laneway Breakfast brings together Victoria’s diverse legal sector to celebrate the start of the legal year. It's your chance to rub shoulders with some of Victoria's most important legal minds, network with colleagues from across the legal sector or just soak up the atmosphere in Melbourne's iconic Hardware Lane.
In addition to hearing from Victoria's Attorney General the Honourable Martin Pakula MP, you will be able to:
- Enjoy delicious finger food from our local cafes and restaurants
- Buy your coffee on the way to the breakfast and support our local cafes
- Catch up with your colleagues and meet new faces in the legal sector
- Go in the draw to win great raffle prizes!
Check out our raffle prizes up for grabs!
The Australian Literacy & Numeracy Foundation's Share-A-Book Program provides new and quality pre-loved books to disadvantaged youth and Indigenous, refugee and marginalised communities in need of resources. At the breakfast we will be collecting:
- new books or second-hand books in excellent condition
- books for early readers aged 0-8 years
- fiction and non-fiction titles.
Folk and country singer/songwriter John Flanagan will be performing at this year's breakfast. Combining '60s and '70s folk influences with a contemporary American/bluegrass sound, John recently released his latest album, 'There's Another Way to Where You're Going', which was recorded in Nashville with producer Viktor Krauss.
