A grant was awarded to fund the production of the documentary Ghost train.
Ghost train is a documentary about an elderly man whose wife’s decline into dementia leaves him feeling alone until he chances upon a cabaret restaurant and becomes captivated by the lead actress. The film’s rich personal story has evoked a wealth of discussion about the complex issue of elder abuse.
As well as being used for community legal education, the film has been aired on ABC and was selected for the Clermont-Ferrand festival in France, the top short-film festival in the world.
