Gippsland Community Legal Service will expand their community legal education program to reach a broad audience across the Gippsland region. They propose to use newspaper and radio to inform the community of relevant legal topics and solutions and referral details for legal advice and information.
Legal topics may include infringements and debt, family violence, tenancy issues, employment issues, wills and probate, and discrimination.
The community legal service will write newspaper columns for two local newspapers each month for six months. The articles will cover legal topics relevant to the community. Radio announcements will also discuss different legal topics and how the community can seek further help.
