The General Grant program is now closed. Applications are currently being assessed and applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application in November 2018. A new grants structure will be introduced in 2019/20 reflecting a new focus on civil law and research. More information will be available soon.
Small Grants are available if your project budget is less than $5000 (excl. GST). You can apply for a Small Grant at any time – there are no closing dates.
2019 Law Week Grant applications will open from 3 December 2018 until 4 March 2019. For more information on Law Week Grants click here.
Before you apply
In 2018/2019, our focus is on supporting projects that help Victorians better understand their law and justice system. Read our guide on some of the ways we can help you, and speak to our Grants Manager, both to check that your grant is eligible and for support in developing your project and preparing your application.

Submitting your application
Submitting a grant application is easy. Simply follow these steps.
Step 1 – complete the application form
The first step is to complete a Small, Law Week or General Grant application form.
Step 2 – create a PDF of your application
You will need to create a PDF of your application and supporting documents. You can attach your application and up to two supporting documents through this portal.
Step 3 – submit your application
Once you have your PDF, submit it through our 'Grant application portal' below.
You will receive an automated email when you have submitted your application. If you do not receive this email in your inbox or junk mail folders within 24 hours, please contact the Foundation on 9604 8100.
