Conversations About The Voice: Opening the Conversation

On 3 April 2023 the Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies (CCCS) launched a new event series called ‘Conversations About the Voice’.

The series is part of a broader program of work being undertaken by the University of Melbourne in the lead-up to the federal referendum on proposed changes to the Australian Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia, and aims to provide a forum for Australians to explore and understand these proposed changes. This first event in the series, ‘Opening the Conversation’, was convened by barrister Tim Goodwin, Laureate Emeritus Professor Cheryl Saunders AO and CCCS Director Professor Jason Varuhas.
