Games and play-based activities can make learning new information more fun and engaging. Creative learning can also help engage with hard-to-reach groups and improve education outcomes.

Our upcoming webinar explores how the community legal sector is using playful and game-based approaches to deliver legal education.

Play to improve outcomes

According to a diverse body of play research, play is as important to the body and mind as food – no matter your age. Play supports mental health, improves our ability to relate to others and even helps to mitigate stress during challenging times. Or, dare we say, when experiencing everyday legal issues.

Learn from experience

We’ll be joined by Moses Florendo (Whittlesea Community Connections) discussing the Fine Your Way Out board game and Milly Lefau (South-East Monash Legal Service), one of the founders of Sporting Change, which uses sport to teach young people about different aspects of the legal system.

Be part of the conversation

Bring your questions and a cuppa and over 30 minutes you’ll discover how leveling up your approach can:

  • improve understanding
  • strengthen engagement
  • build legal capability in your community.
