Community Legal Centres Workforce Project

A survey of the community legal centre workforce across Victoria.

Capturing the work of community legal assistance

The Federation of Community Legal Centres Victoria Inc. engaged the Victoria Law Foundation to conduct research to answer the following questions:

  • Who works in the sector?
  • What is it like working in community legal centres?
  • How could the work of community legal centres be strengthened?
  • What would enhance the work of the community legal sector as a whole?

Employees, volunteers, students, board members, CEOs and centre managers were invited to participate by completing an online survey.

A series of reports provide an overview of workplace issues. All five reports are now available.
