Supporting Women at Work: Training for Professionals and Frontline Workers
Join us for a free training designed for professionals working in family violence, health, education, community services, and other frontline roles who support clients experiencing workplace issues.

Delivered by the Working Women’s Centre, this session is a free training designed for professionals working in family violence, health, education, community services, and other frontline roles who support clients experiencing workplace issues.
The session will explore the key challenges women and gender-diverse people may face at work and how these issues can present in client conversations.
In this session, participants will:
- Learn about the Working Women’s Centre and the free legal and advocacy services available for women and gender-diverse workers.
- Develop skills in identifying (issue spotting) common workplace problems, such as underpayment, unfair treatment, discrimination, and sexual harassment.
- Understand how to respond safely and make effective referrals to the Working Women’s Centre, to ensure that clients receive timely advice before they are out of time to take action.
- Build confidence in supporting clients to recognise and seek help when something isn’t right at work.
